New Brookings report highlights minerals potential in Nevada
This week, the Brookings Institution released a report outlining opportunities for growth in Nevada, a state suffering from 13.4 percent unemployment. Mining was one of the sectors identified as ripe with potential, due to Nevada’s “wealth of mineral resources” and the state’s “knowledge base in mining operations.”
