Wisconsin governor supports mining bill

In a visit to a local material-handling equipment manufacturer on Tuesday, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker discussed the benefits that a more efficient mining permitting process would bring to manufacturers. At this event—the first of three in support of the state’s proposed mining bill—Gov. Walker also touted the 2,300 jobs the legislation could create around the state.
