Happy Holidays from Minerals Make Life

Posted on December 28, 2016 by Minerals Make Life

The Minerals Make Life community has much to be proud of in 2016. This year we highlighted the many ways minerals improve our lives, the American economy and advanced technologies. We have also sounded the alarm on issues threatening the mining community, like duplicative and burdensome rules proposed for U.S. hardrock mining and the implications of additional federal land withdrawals.

As our cities grow and our lives become more tech-centric, infrastructure and technology will require even more mineral resources for innovation. At the same time, we continue to ensure the protection of our wildlife and the environment. Through environmental stewardship and land reclamation efforts, we do our part to be a good neighbor.

The holidays are a time for reflection, celebration and appreciation. This year, and always, we are grateful to the mining community for their hard work and contributions to our daily lives. To show our appreciation, we created a special holiday video to demonstrate just how important minerals are for every season.

Minerals make the holidays possible; from the iron in the stove that cooks your favorite holiday meal to the titanium used to make the jets carrying millions of people to their families. We hope you’ll enjoy the video and share with your friends and family.
We are confident that 2017 will be a spectacular year and we cannot wait to see what’s in store.

Thank you for your continued support.
